One day, Yurina is playing with her smartphone like a typical teenager and discovers an app called Shimobe no Shimobei which she casually downloads. From that day onwards, a middle-aged man (Yasuda Ken) would appear out of nowhere each time Yurina is in trouble – when she gets entangled with a guy with a bad personality or realises while she is at a cafe that she has no money on her. The man fells the guy, pays the money and rescues Yurina. He always shows up without a word and leaves silently. Who exactly is this man? A transfer student Sasaki Tatsuma (Kaneko Daichi) comes to Yurina’s school. He is Tacchan whom she got on well with in her childhood. Although she is happy to meet Tatsuma again, he does not remember her and seems to dislike her getting near him. Yurina is disconcerted but this reunion makes her recall her childhood dream to become a doctor. It is practically unrealistic with her academic results. However, she begins to run towards her dream. With the help of the mysterious middle-aged man Shimobei, Yurina’s school life is set in motion and even her friends Aki (Yahagi Honoka) and Tada Reo (Naito Shuichiro) become involved.
