Story
Because Mitazono Arisu was raised in an environment where she gets everything she wants and lives in comfort, she is the most free-spirited and willful girl ever. Arisu’s daring escapades are also criticised but why is she favourably received by the world? On the other hand, Sato Taro works hard and lives in the present while looking after his three young children. The “haves” and the “have nots” – two people who have vastly different economic clout, families and sets of values – meet, and gradually become drawn to each other. Before long, Taro becomes a precious existence that fills Arisu’s lonely heart …

Ueto Aya as Mitazono Arisu
Her father is an international hotel magnate, her mother is an actress, and she has a much older brother. She presently appears as the poster girl for “Love Alice’s Company” and even though she is well-off, she makes a life for herself. Her residence is the suite room on the highest floor of an ultra deluxe hotel in Tokyo.
Kamiji Yusuke as Sato Taro
A very poor man. 6 years ago, his wife died and he lives with his three children in an ancient house. He is one of the so-called working poor with an annual income of less than 2 million yen, but his virtue is his positivity which makes him resolutely stand up for the unfortunate people around him.
