Story
Takagi Hitomi and Honda Akako are both 27 years old. It has been seven years since they met and five years after they formed the comedy duo known as “Akako to Hitomi”. However, they are still not very popular and perform to a regular audience in the corner of a small theatre. Their daily routine is to produce videos with the help of childhood friends Kuramae Shingo and Oshima Yoji and then upload on their agency’s online channel in an attempt to use it as a stepping stone to success. But the viewership of these videos does not grow as they expect it to. Despite the setbacks, the pursuit of their dream thrives on their firm friendship. One day, Hitomi and Akako catch a middle school student trying to steal Hitomi’s bicycle while they are practicing material by the river. After that, their first appearance on a TV variety show is scheduled and they are reunited with old friends from their university days due to the programme. It seems to be a sign that they will become successful comedians but some incident brings about a new development.
