Synopsis: Shimajima Eiji (Kitaoji Kinya), is an “assassin” who made a living “killing” and has taken countless lives so far. He has retired and moves in to an old folks home near the sea with the intention of spending the rest of his days living quietly. However, one night shortly after he becomes a resident at the home, the ghost of Kikuchi Takashi (Katsuno Hiroshi) appears in his room. Kikuchi was like an older brother who taught Eiji the fundamentals of “killing”. But ironically he was killed by Eiji 23 years ago. Kikuchi tells a shocked Eiji that he has come to ask him to do a job. It is to kill Kawanishi Shizuo (Hagiwara Masato), the doctor in charge of Eiji, in order to save the life of a nurse at the old folks home, Haraguchi Saori (Kinami Haruka) who is having an affair with Kawanishi. According to Kikuchi’s findings, Kawanishi intends to settle the affair and is plotting to murder Saori because he will be taking over his father-in-law’s hospital. But why is Kikuchi trying to protect Saori? Eiji soon decides to accept this strange “last job”. He lures Kawanishi into the dense forest, but is fed with shocking words he never dreamed of hearing from him. Which is the truth and which is the lie?
