Story
Tachiki Nobuo works for a publishing company. His boss Kurata Kazuma has appointed him the deputy editor of the monthly literary magazine Story File which is due to launch. He is extremely busy and hardly goes back to the home he bought in the suburbs but he and his wife Aya are deeply in love and live a happy married life. Aya was a model for a female magazine and became a helper at a home for the elderly after marriage. However, she has a secret which boggles the imagination. She cannot control her own impulses to have sex with complete male strangers on bright, sunny days. Because Aya truly loves Nobuo, she carries heavy guilt over her actions and has a deep self-loathing. With grim determination, she visits a well-known counsellor Kobayakawa Shiho and tries to overcome her sexual addiction without her husband’s knowledge. But she soon feels an overwhelming urge and has a rendezvous with a man she met through an online dating site. When the two of them see each other, they are both lost for words. The man is Nobuo’s colleague Mochizuki Shunsuke. Aya is shaken and flees. Mochizuki Nobuo cannot resist secretly consulting colleagues who know Nobuo and Aya about how he should deal with this. But this later brings about a terrible situation. Meanwhile, Aya is ambushed by a man whom she met through an online dating site in the past and forced into a relationship again. And then, and incident happens that plunges Nobuo in hell. He is in a dilemma when he learns about Aya’s sexual addiction. Will he still be able to love her? These newly weds face the ultimate trial.

The deputy editor of a monthly literary magazine called Story File. He once aspired to be a novelist but suffered setbacks and became a book editor. He has a diligent nature and is a sincere man who sticks to his decisions and promises once they are made. He is always with a gentle smile even when placed in harsh situations. He loves his wife Aya wholeheartedly and treasures her. But one day, he learns about her sexual addiction which has led her to have casual sex with many men. Despite the grim truth, his love for Aya does not waver and because of that, he gets caught up in a spiral of tremendous agony.
Sasaki Nozomi as Tachiki Aya
Tachiki Nobuo’s wife. A beautiful young woman with a girlish loveliness, she used to be a model for a female magazine but has been a helper at a home for the elderly after marriage. She loves her husband with all her heart and also feels his love every day and is contented with family life. However, she has a sexual addiction. She cannot resist her impulses on bright sunny days for some reason and ends up in her having sex with male strangers. Naturally, she has been keeping a tight lid on this. Kimura Tae as Kobayakawa Shiho
A counsellor who opened a psychiatric clinic. She is a prominent person who has made many appearances on TV and also had a number of speaking engagements. She takes on Tachiki Aya’s counselling but has a hard time with the very difficult treatment. She seems smart and cool but actually has a secret which appears to be due to the darkness of her mind. She develops an interest in Aya’s husband Nobuo’s overwhelming self-restraint.
Fueki Yuko as Shizukuishi Nami
A writer who has had a string of hits. She has been writing long suspense and crime novels but is working on her first romance novel before the age of 40. Even she has a big secret.
Okina Megumi as Shinjo Reiko
Tachiki Nobuo’s colleague who joined at the same time as he did. The chief editor of a fashion magazine. She is Nobuo’s confidant and is close to the Tachikis because she also interacted with Tachiki Aya back in when Aya was modelling. In truth, she has been hiding a secret which she can never tell Nobuo and Aya.
Furuya Ikkou as Onoda Shiro
An influential writer who wrote many pure love novels and created an era. But now the boom is over and it even is whispered in the industry that he is past his prime. He is constantly rumoured to prey on female editors. There is a long-standing fued between Kurata Kazuma, the boss of a newcomer Hirakawa Yuri who has become his editor.

The charismatic chief editor of the monthly literary magazine Story File. A man with foresight in work who is willing to take a high-handed approach. His private life is a mystery but he actually has a big darkness in his mind which has caused long-term alcohol abuse. He became acquainted with Kobayakawa Shiho when he sought treatment and they are now in a relationship.
