Story
The “organisation” should probably not have been underestimated … Yoshino Kimihiro, the deputy general manager of Subaru Transport’s Sales Division is demoted despite his outstanding sales performance. This is because his aggressive tactics that yielded those results, had stirred up animosity among superiors like Mise Takashi. Yoshino is dejected, but is moved by his encounter with Horai Hideki, a sales driver and one-time baseball player, who is suffers a similar setback as his. Sales targets that are difficult to achieve, subordinates with no motivation, fierce competition with rival companies … Yoshino bounces back from adversity, gambling on their revival through the realisation of a groundbreaking logistics system.

Watabe Atsuro as Yoshino Kimihiro
Head of New Business Development at Subaru Transport who turns in stellar business performances. He admires and respects Chairman Sonezaki Shozo and switched jobs from the trading conglomerate, Toa Trading, to Subaru Transport 5 years ago. He does not have a good relationship with his father, Kozo.

Nakamura Aoi as Horai Hideki
A baseball player who was promised a career in the professional baseball league but broke his right elbow and had to retire. He decides to work as a sales driver at Subaru Transport.

Kurokawa Tomoka as Horai Aiko
Horai Hideki’s pregnant wife who is sweetly supportive of him.

Okunuki Kaoru as Yoshino Tokie
Yoshino Kimihiro’s wife. She sometimes treats her husband harshly. Their son, Kouta, is aiming to become a professional baseball player and she is opposed to it.

Sato Jiro as Hoshino Takeshi
A reporter with Tohto Shimbun’s Business Desk. He had interviewed Horai Hideki in his previous post as a reporter covering sports news. He is transferred to the business desk and develops an interest in Yoshino Kimihiro.

Nakamura Ikuji as Tokito Tadashi
President of Subaru Transport. He has been put in charge of the company by the chairman Sonezaki Shozo. He recognises Yoshino Kimihiro’s competence.

Nagato Hiroyuki as Sonezaki Shozo
Chairman of Subaru Transport. The founder of Subaru Transport which he built up in one generation. He has now retired and lives in Kyoto with his wife.

Jinnai Takanori as Mise Takashi
Managing Director and Senior Sales Director of Subaru Transport. An influential man who worked his way up the ranks. He is hostile to Yoshino Kimihiro.

Aijima Kazuyuki as Katsube Ryoji
Head of Logistics at Buddy, the fifth largest stationery catalogue retailer. He takes an interest in Yoshino Kimihiro’s proposal.

Matsushige Yutaka as Kondo Kazuyuki
Director of Kyokuto Transportation. He clashed with Yoshino Kimihiro who was in the same division as him during his time at Toa Trading. He followed Yoshino and moved to the transportation industry.
