Story
It has been one and a half years since Aizawa Kosaku, Shiraishi Megumi, Hiyama Mihoko and Fujikawa Kazuo were assigned to Shoyo University’s North Hospital. They have only three months left of their fellowship programme (specialised training programme) to be flight doctors and each of them have come to the crossroads where they have to think of their lives after graduation. Aizawa, who has only one relative – a grandmother currently in a nursing home, starts having doubts about his duties and cannot find a clear direction for his future. Meanwhile, Shiraishi Megumi is unable to forget the past. She had caused their former teacher, Kuroda Shuji, to have his right arm amputated. Then Tachibana Keisuke, a veteran flight doctor, takes up a new post. He has been put in charge of certifying the fellowship programme which will decide their future …

Yamashita Tomohisa as Aizawa Kosaku
A flight doctor candidate who arrived at Shoyo University’s North Hospital to be a flight doctor. He used to have a hunger to cultivate his own skills and was not afraid of discord, but he visited many accident scenes and his attitude changed as he matured. However, the amputation of Kuroda’s right arm in an accident has brought new worries.

Aragaki Yui as Shiraishi Megumi
A flight doctor trainee. Her aim is to gain knowledge on medical service helicopter system by going to local emergency centres. However, she worries about gap that has grown between herself and her father who is a renowned physician practising cardiovascular internal medicine.

Toda Erika as Hiyama Mihoko
A flight doctor trainee. She has a feisty personality and hates to lose. However, ever since she sustained serious injuries at the accident scene of a derailed train, she suffers from its after-effects and can no one about it.

Higa Manami as Saejima Haruka
A competent flight nurse. She initially looks down on Aizawa and the others but camaraderie develops when they handle the same missions. However, she realises that she is close to a true separation from her boyfriend who suffers from an incurable disease.

Asari Yosuke as Fujikawa Kazuo
A flight doctor candidate. He was the one out of the four of them who fell behind in the training but he begins to show tremendous growth as a doctor through his experience with numerous large-scale accidents.
