Synopsis: A woman in her 20s is found stabbed to death in a storage area for materials. She ran a local bar and was just scrapping along. A 19-year-old boy is arrested shortly after on suspicion of murder and illegally disposing the dead body. The defence of the youth is placed in the hands of the lawyer Kikuchi Daizaburo (Shiina Kippei), a former judge who is haunted by a certain trial in the past and turned his back on the “truth”.
