Synopsis: 64-year-old Sugimoto Taeko (Matsuzaka Keiko) has been taking care of her husband Masanobu (Asano Kazuyuki) while he fights an illness in hospital. One day, her daughter Natsuki, who is a single mother, moves into the house with her granddaughter Mizuki (Yokomizo Naho). This is the beginning of a lively communal life. Taeko sees her former self in Mizuki who is in the fifth grade in elementary school, and she begins to recall her days as an elementary school student (Inagaki Kurumi) – the sharp taste of the first pineapple she ate, her miserable score in her arithmetic test, the school play that awakened her acting spirit. She is reminded of her childhood dream to become an actress that she had given up on and decides that she will act on stage! Taeko quickly goes for an audition. She joins a theatre group for seniors and throws herself into practising a Shakespearean play. But the theatre where they are scheduled to give a public performance goes bankrupt. Does Taeko have no choice but to give up on her dream once again!?
