Nicknamed Koro, Tokoro Madoka works at Yotsuba Publishing and is an editorial staff of Juice, a monthly manga for young women. She has not experienced real love even though she is 33. One day, Madoka sees Hakkaku Naoya, a popular colleague who is in charge of youth magazines in the sales department, smile as he eats a beef bowl and falls in love with him. When she consults the manga artist Magariya Ringo that she is in charge of, she is advised to “stalk” him through meals. “If you don’t have the courage to have a meal with him, check out what he has eaten and you’ll feel him.” Taking Ringo’s advice to heart, Madoka quickly visits the shop selling beef bowls on her own for the first time. She notices that there are only men at the counter and nervously places her order. As she eats dishes such as a beef bowl, mackerel simmered in miso and omurice, she lets herself fantasise … …
