Synopsis: Izawa Norito (Sawamura Ikki) is a former elite detective of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police’ Public Security Department. He transferred from this department to be the director of the General Affairs Department’s Documentation Division after some incident occurred. It is the place where troublemakers are gathered to get rid of them. The Documentation Division is actually a cover for these drifters (Yokoyama Yu, Honda Tsubasa, Emoto Tokio, Hirata Mitsuru) to proceed with missions for an important project which is being conducted in secret. This project involves aggregating data such as the personal information on Japanese citizens, surveillance camera footage nationwide as well as email and phone data. It is analysed and compared with data on crimes that took place in the past 15 years to find dangerous people with a high probability of committing grave offenses, primarily murders before these happen.

Having lost interest in what kind of people live next door to them, their relationships with their surroundings are tenuous at best. 62-year-old Terauchi Seiji (Sano Shiro) and his young granddaughter Honoka (Watanabe Uta) move to Ayamecho Complex, a public housing complex which was built in the suburbs of Tokyo in the 1970s. This is the place where he spent a happy childhood. Terauchi does perfect housework and showers an inordinate amount of love on Honoka as he takes care of his elderly father (Yamaya Hatsuo). He looks like the perfect old man but slowly begins to show lunacy.

Synopsis: In 1868, negotiations between the shogunate and the new government results in the decision to surrender Edo Castle. However, there is just one problem. There is a retainer of the shogun who refuses to budge. His name is Matooya Rokubei (Kikkawa Koji). He was a member of the guards under the direct control of the shogun. Rokubei silently sits on his heels and moves only to relieve himself. Disputes in the castle are strictly forbidden because of a promise to Saigo Takamori and Katsu Kaishu. So Rokubei cannot be evicted by force. Kakurai learns that this Rokubei is impersonating the real Rokubei. They get increasingly confused. However, Kakurai begins to feel a perplexing empathy for Rokubei who stands with traditional dignity, after spending some time with him.
