Story
From a life insurance salesman, Yamada Hanio changed occupations to work at an advertising agency as a copywriter. He had a good background, salary which others probably envied. But one day while walking on his regular route to work, Hanio gives up on the endless daily routine and unchanging world. He tries to take his own life all of a sudden. However, he does not succeed. This gives him the idea to start a business selling his own life. Hanio begins to face up to life as he responds to the series of very bizarre requests which he unexpectedly gets. His first client is Kishi Soichiro who has discovered that his young wife Ruriko is having a relationship with a boss of the underworld and wants to kill them off .. …

Nakamura Aoi as Yamada Hanio
A copywriter who works for a large advertising agency. He changed occupations from a life insurance salesman. He had a good background as well as salary which others envied and no lack of women. While walking on his regular route to work one day, he suddenly froze in his steps and impulsively tried to take his own life. However, he was saved and started a new business “selling lives”. Before this, unattainable money and beautiful women surrounded him but he lost all life. Ironically, this unconsciously awakens an attachment to living.
Maeda Oshiro as Inoue Kaoru
A high school student who requests to be killed by his mother. In the end, his “blood sucking” mother commits suicide, leaving him alone in this world so he settles in Hanio’s house. In a certain sense, he becomes his partner. But there is a reason why he got close to Hanio.
YOU as Kyoko
The manager of the cafe which Yamada Hanio goes to. She is the only person who understands him and worries about him in one way or another. She has experienced a lot in life and is great at perceiving and showing compassion for people who are struggling with life. She speaks for the feelings of Hanio’s clients but he always listens disinterestedly.
Tanaka Min as Kishi Soichiro
A businessman who is Yamada Hanio’s first client. He wants Hanio to put a man from the underworld and his unfaithful wife Ruriko to sleep. However, he has a hidden motivation … …
