Synopsis: Maki Shizuri (Suzuki Kyoka), a former detective with the First Investigation Division, meets Nakamoto Kojin (Seto Koji) in front of the grave of an ex-colleague Maeda Kosuke (Watabe Atsuro). Kojin is Maeda’s son. Six years ago, Maeda died of injuries sustained while protecting Shizuri during an investigation into a robbery and murder case. Because Shizuri felt guilty for causing his death, she quit being a detective and broke off connections with all the people around her. She also hid away the past and shut her heart after that. Kojin has approached the emotionally battered Shizuri in an attempt to learn about the background of his father’s death. She gets unexpected, shocking information relating to that case from Kojin and this raises doubts in her mind. Could the case actually have been a set up? Time starts ticking again for Shizuri after being at a standstill as she pursues the truth of the case together with Kojin.
