Cassiopeia no Endroll
Story: A locked room murder occurs in a suite room of the luxurious Cassiopeia limited express train bound for Ueno from Sapporo. The murder victim is the movie director, Domyoji (Tanaka Yoji). He is the only male member of the film crew of a popular movie series. Four female members who had been on the train with Domyoji are the ones who could go in and out of the suite room which was rented for the crew. They are Yoshikawa Kanae (Ishino Yoko), the producer who is a little past her prime; Kamo Izumi (Yabuki Haruna), the very sultry assistant producer; Kashimura Mana (Kawashima Umika), the young up-and-coming actress who was selected for this installment of the series, and Mochizuki Yukari (Fujiwara Norika), the popular lead actress of the series. Each female suspect has her own quirks. Story: Takigawa Rei (Toyota Maho), a well-known talented female pianist, is holding her first recital in three years. However, right after Rei leaves the hall to continuous clapping, she dies a mysterious death in her waiting room. Kuroi Pantel
Story: Middle-aged salaryman Sudo (Katsumura Masanobu) is a humble site supervisor who works for a construction company. However, 30 years ago, when he was in his 20s, he was actually an novice actor who enjoyed fame on TV as the hero of a team of superheroes. He is married to Eiko (Takahashi Hitomi) who was his co-star at that time and the heroine, and they have one daughter, Chiaki (Koike Rina), who is now 20 years old. One day, Sudo is shown by Eiko the outfit and mask of the hero, Black Pantel, that he had worn, and he recalls an event 30 years earlier. It is the tragic accident that took place on the set of the superhero show which he starred in. At that time, the show had reached its climax and Sudo was filming the last episode. However, a fire broke out on location. Sudo ended up leaving a junior actor, Ninomiya (Shirota Yu), who was playing the enemy, Count Dracula, to die. It was a bitter experience for him. Diamond Dust
Story: Tokyo is swept by a big chill which causes heavy snowfall. That night, two men who work for a sporting goods store, Okuwaki Takumi (AKIRA) and Myojin Kazuya (Yamamoto Koji) are busy preparing for the opening of a new store the next day. Only the two of them have been forced to work overtime. As the night wears on, the snowstorm intensifies. Amidst the panic caused by the breakdown of the metropolis’ infrastructure, there is a blackout at the new store. The two men have no choice but to stop what they are doing. Okuwaki decides that they should walk back to the head office from the new store. Although they are in the heart of the metropolis, a fierce snowstorm rages. Okuwaki and Myojin have the feeling that they are walking in the snowcapped mountains. Terrorised by the fury of the relentless snowstorm, two of them soon lay bare each other’s secrets and desires. Will the they be able to return to the head office safely?
