Story
Aoishi Hanae is a plain, inconspicuous clerical staff who works for the food department of Teiko Corporation, a long-established trading company. On the brink of 30, she has still no experience with men and lives with her parents. She has no confidence in her own femininity. On the other hand, she cannot get over the fantasy that a prince on a white horse will come for her someday. She is trouble. Besides watching Lady’s Day films and walking her beloved dog Mamoru, she only travels back and forth between her company and home in a monotonous routine every day. In contrast to her junior, Ogawa Hitomi, who would talk about a handsome guy in the same building and proactively approach him, Hanae goes to the extent of lying that she has a boyfriend and turns down an invitation to a matchmaking party from her sales colleague, Oshiro So. Then goes to watch a movie alone as always. However, Oshiro takes her lie for the truth and spreads the word. This excites the company and Hanae finds herself backed into a corner. Intending to welcome her 30th birthday quietly, Hanae keeps mum about it to prevent herself from being fussed about. However, she ends up being alone with Tanokura Yuta, a university student who is also a part-timer in the same department, on the way home from a welcome party for new employees. Hanae is congratulated by Yuta who happened to learn that it is her birthday. His words, “I want to be with you until morning,” bewilders her, and yet she follows him. She is taken to a baseball batting facility as well as a night cruise. Having spent an unexpectedly fun time with Yuta, Hanae goes straight to a hotel … … When she wakes up the next morning, she finds a naked Yuto sleeping next to her. Hanae has had her first experience. But with a guy nine years her junior and whom she would also have to see in the office. A horrified Hanae ends up taking leave from work. To complicate matters, Asao Yu, the handsome CEO of an Italian food company in the same building, shows an interest in Hanae’s suspicious behaviour and suddenly closes in on her … …

An office lady who works for a mid-sized general trading company. Because she is genuinely rather timid, she has difficulty taking the first step towards love and reaches her 30th birthday without once having had a boyfriend. She ends up dating university student Tanokura Yuto by chance. But “difficulties” stand in the way of all sorts of mundane events in what should have been a regular romance and she keeps repeating mistakes.

A 21-year-old university student who is working part-time at Aoishi Hanae’s department. He appears to be a popular playboy, but starts dating Hanae after spending a night together.

Aoishi Hanae’s junior. An office lady in a clerical position. In contrast to Hanae, she is positive about love and believes that happiness in life is about catching the right guy.
Taguchi Junnosuke as Oshiro So
A salesman who joined the company at the same time as Aoishi Hanae did. He is the frivolous person who is the life of the company. He worries about Hanae’s male relationships and is all too ready to interfere.
Tamaki Hiroshi as Asao Yu
The CEO of the Italian food company, Sapphirus Trading, which is located on a higher floor in the same building as Aoishi Hanae’s company. Although he has all the qualities – both looks and social status – to be unquestionably popular, he is still single. He has interest in Hanae and gives her advise about love.
