Akeboshi Miki (Maki Yoko)
Akeboshi Miki is a sharp and capable police officer with the rank of sergeant in the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department’s Public Security Bureau. She is a tough woman among the men and holds her own in combat. Because she happened to be at the scene of the blast when the explosion that killed Kuraki Naotake’s wife took place, she is believed to have a lot of information relating to the case. However, she has difficulty with identification. “This case is top secret even in Public Security!” Her father, a Public Security officer, disappeared in the past and that has left her emotionally scarred.
