Osugi Ryota (Kagawa Teruyuki)

Osugi is a detective of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department’s First Investigative Division who worked his way up. He is in charge of the investigation on the bomb blast, but makes no attempt to share information. He regards the Public Security Bureau as nothing but a bunch of liars. Because he hates Public Security, he also flares up at Kuraki Naotake and Akeboshi Miki. However, as the mystery of the incident deepens, he starts to feel that what Kuraki and Miki have connects with his, and he gradually shows changes in his attitude. The explanation of the course of events of the complicated case is beyond his comprehension and he does not get along well with his daughter. Osugi is a character whose very distress makes him feel human.
