Synopsis: A woman chats as if she were in a cafe but is in a prison’s visiting room, separated from the outside world by an acrylic sheet. On the opposite side is freelance writer Nomoto Chiaki (Natsukawa Yui) who listens to what she has to say. The woman is Misaki Mayumi (Fujiyama Naomi). She has been charged with the murder of two of the many men she cheated. When Chiaki asks Mayumi to teach her how to trick men because she is completely unpopular, Mayumi says there were no cheated men. They loved her. Her trial which has attracted public attention finally begins. Public prosecutor Okabe Takako (Tanaka Misako) is told by her superior (Ishimaru Kenjiro) that this high-profile trial is her sole chance but he will not allow failure. Chiaki is also present in the public gallery. Mayumi maintains her innocence. Seeing this, Chiaki gets an impression of a cold, elegant Mayumi that is different from the one that has created a public sensation. Midori (Koike Eiko), the daughter of the victim Iizuka (Kishibe Ittoku) takes the witness stand. Iizuka had met Mayumi at an antiques appreciation club. After they started going out, Iizuka transferred a total of more than 4 million yen to her bank account and died when his home was burnt down. His death was treated as an accident due to a discarded cigarette. However, 9 million yen which Mayumi had taken out from Iizuka’s bank account is unaccounted for. In court, Midori rages that her father could not have been serious about an ugly woman like Mayumi when Mayumi talks about how her father gave her everything. Then Mayumi asks Takako in court, “I’ve made many men happy. Have you also made your husband happy, prosecutor?” Mayumi does not know how more than 1 billion yen out of the 2 billion yen she should have obtained has been used. In an attempt to get the truth on Mayumi, Chiaki who has steadily become obsessed with her mysterious charm, heads to Osaka and visits Reiko (Kimura Midoriko), the female proprietress of a bar who knew Mayumi while working at a date club. However, she is turned away by Reiko, “What do you people know about Mayumi!” Another victim Morizono (Kondo Yoshimasa) met Mayumi through matchmaking website. However, he administered a sleep inducing drug and died in the bathtub. The whereabouts of the 5 million yen that Morizono had deposited is not known. Takako gets a man called Hasegawa (Komoto Masahiro), who had seen a soaking wet Mayumi on the day that Morizono died, as a key witness but … … On the other hand, Chiaki is told something by Reiko and learns unknown and important facts about Mayumi.
