Synopsis: Mochizuki Akira (Kitano Kii) and other members of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department’s Special Investigation Team receive a report on a brutal video involving audience participation that is being distributed over the internet. The streaming video questions justice in society and viewers are given a quiz that they have to answer yes or no. If the answers are unsatisfactory, they are deemed incorrect and a masked man will shoot a hostage (Ayano Go, Oshinari Shugo) dead each time. On that same day, Akira learns that an anonymous letter addressed to Police Superintendent Yamaji Tetsuo (Terajima Susumu), her former superior, is remarkably similar to that of the video quiz. She sends for Yamaji who has been transferred to Ariake Police Precinct and sets out to investigate. Akira and Yamaji, together with the director of the team, Kazami Kengo (Takashima Masanobu); profiler Osone Manabu (Yamamoto Yusuke); medical examiner Mikami Kaoru (Kato Masaya) and the rest close in on the criminal’s profile through the contents of the quiz and the background reflections in the video.
