Subbing Marks no Yama

Marks

Kazuya and I will be subbing WOWOW’s Marks no Yama. Adapted from Takamura Kaoru’s famous bestseller, the drama is a psychological thriller which intersperses police investigation with the gradual unravelling of a troubled young man who calls himself Marks. Takamura was a famous writer of detective novels in the 1990s until she decided to withdraw from the genre partly because she found it difficult to reconcile her politically motivated commentary with detective fiction.

We can never resist a WOWOW production, and suffice to say that the ending of episode 1 made our hairs prickle and left us wanting more.

More information on the drama is available here.

Familiarise yourself with the big cast of characters.

Unfortunately not at the moment. You would probably have to wait for another source to provide the episodes as it is pretty hard to get WOWOW dramas.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! What great news!
Before the drama started, I’d been scouring the net hoping that someone would take pity on not Japanese-speakers. Yours was one of the few sites that even mentioned the drama – and now this! Patiently looking forward to your subs.
    Thanks again!

Thank you all for your supportive comments =) We just want to spread the love of WOWOW dramas around!

Please be patient with us as there are no Japanese subtitles to rely on, and files for future episodes may take time since it is a private tv network.

You might wanna make a request for TS files at http://transportstreams.org/. I wonder if it will automatically include the closed caps.

  6. ersby says:

Thanks for picking this up. I was starting to worry no one would take it.
