A detective with the Yamanashi Prefectural Police. Rank: Inspector. He was in charge of the case of the skeleton in the Minami Alps which was the beginning of the series of cases.
Suzuki Anju as Kano Kiyoko
Goda Yuichiro’s ex-wife and the younger sister of Kano Yusuke. She had been working at a research centre in Boston but comes back to Japan temporarily to meet Goda again.
Sano Shiro as Saeki Shoichi
The president of Saeki Chuo Construction. He is questioned by Negoro Asami, a Shukan Choryu journalist, about alleged illegal donations.
Ishibashi Renji as Iwata Kohei
A former construction worker who had been investigated by Sano Kunio in the past. He gets acquainted with Mizusawa Hiroyuki while serving time in prison.
