Story
Kita Morio, a freeter (freelance part-time worker), applies to secure a gallery seat at a trial for part-time work. He finally obtains an admission ticket. Although Morio has completely no interest in the trial, he is lured by Oda Miwa, a cute female university student, to sit in. In the gallery seats of the courtroom, Morio becomes glued to the trial. Rokkaku Seiji as Yamano Torio
A hard-core courtroom spectator. He carries a file in which he has independent trial records of the past 10 years as well as the traits of the judges and prosecutors. Even Miwa acknowledges his superior knowledge but his work and family are a mystery.
