Story
Hiragi Nachi, a gynaecologist of Seitoku University Hospital, accepts a pregnant woman who is in a critical condition at a time when the hospital’s medical services are not in great shape. With the cooperation of the people around her, the pregnant woman survives but the next day, Nachi is summoned by Professor Susami Seijiro and reprimanded about the reality of medical lawsuits. In the midst of this, Nachi becomes the supervising doctor of a new gynaecologist, Tamaki Satoshi, but ignores him and instead continues with her medical treatments.

Characters
Fujiwara Norika as Hiragi Nachi
A gynaecologist. She has a strong, extreme obsession about “life” and her creed is that she will never abandon her patients even if it means taking on high risks. Reticent and brusque, she is given the cold shoulder by those around her who regard her as a troublemaker but her ability as a gynaecologist is an indisputable fact.

Kamiji Yusuke as Tamaki Satoshi
A new gynaecologist. Maybe it is because he is the son of wealthy parents that he behaves cockily and believes he is capable. However, he is snubbed by Nachi and grows as a doctor as he muddles along.

Nakamura Hashinosuke as Yowara Hiroshi
Head of the Department of Gynaecology. Like a philosopher, he has a philosophical conviction about the gynaecology ward where life and death are intertwined, and continues to seek his own path.

Matsushita Yuki as Kimijima Noriko
Head of the Department of Obstetrics. For the sake of making her ideal of medical treatment a reality, she sacrificed everything to rise through the ranks. She has strong convictions about obstetric care.
