Story
Good-natured Kasama Masamune, who works as a camera assistant at a photography studio, has not been able to forget Tsukamoto Yoko, his girlfriend four years his senior. Yoko had suddenly left him one day when she decided to study abroad six years ago. Then one day, Masamune receives news of his beloved Yoko’s death. He is unable to accept her passing but is told a more shocking fact. That is, he and Yoko have a 5-year-old daughter, Koharu. Masamune is stunned but coincidentally meets Koharu near the library filled with memories of Yoko and himself. He summons his courage in front of Koharu, who has bravely faced her mother’s death, and proposes, “Shall we live together?” …

The girlfriend Masamune had dated in high school, who was four years older than him. Six years ago, she suddenly disappeared from sight but gave birth to their daughter, Koharu, without his knowledge. She is a girl whom Masamune has not been able to forget.

Murakami Shingo as Shibata Yuya
A child-minder at the nursery that Koharu attends. He initially has doubts about the relationship between Masamune and Koharu but secretly supports and warmly watches over Masamune, who works hard at child-rearing despite his bewilderment.
