Bokoihi no Ki

Then tragedy strikes. Tokihira (Nagatsuka Kyozo), the minister of the left, carries off Kita no Kata. Hana no Hokori

Synopsis: Tazuru (Seto Asaka) and Miya (Sakai Miki) are childhood friends. Miya and Tazuru’s older brother Shinjuro (Yamaguchi Makiya) are in love with each other. But when Shinjuro, committed ritual suicide, Tazuru believed he had been jilted by Miya Years pass. Tazuru’s husband, Orinosuke (Tanabe Seiichi) and Miya’s husband Munakata Sobe (Katsurayama Shingo) fight for the position of chief retainer. Miya is the last person that she wants to lose to and Tazuru demands that her timid husband win. At that time, Tazuru saves a travelling samurai who is being attacked by assassins. She is an expert in the short sword. The travellng samurai, Sekine (Yamaguchi Makiya in a dual role) bears a striking resemblance to her dead brother, and carries a secret message that exposes the corruption of the domain. Before long, Tazuru gets caught in the conspiracy of the first chief retainer (Ishibashi Renji)
