Story
The sudden appearance of dragon in the skies of Tokyo causes a great uproar. Mitsuyama City is a provincial town at the foot of Mt Fuji located hundreds of kilometers away from Tokyo and free of the commotion. Childhood friends Yoshio, Kenji and Tamotsu watch live telecasts on television at the cafe ‘Tyrol’ where their friend Yoko works. One day, Yoshio goes to buy a game and gets a mysterious, old scroll at a secondhand bookstore. Written on it is the triumph of the warriors of the light over a dragon which saved the world, and also the coat of arms of these warriors. The four of them have birthmarks which are the same as the coat of arms. Could they be the descendents of the warriors of light? A sword and crystal are needed to vanquish the dragon mentioned in the scroll. The hiding place of the crystal is discovered to be written in a mural of the town’s public bathhouse!
Characters
Yasuda Shota as Yoshio
A member of Mitsuyama City’s youth group. He went up to Tokyo aspiring to be a musician but met with setback(s) and returned to Mitsuyama City where he has been drifting from job to job. He currently works at a convenience store. He loves games and his daily routine is to idly hang out at the cafe run by the family of his classmate Yoko with his good friends Kenji and Tamotsu.
Renbutsu Misako as Yoko
Yoshio’s classmate and the daughter of the owner of the cafe ‘Tyrol’. Although she is appalled by Yoshio, Kenji and Tamotsu who come and hang out at the cafe everyday, she is a dependable person who looks after the three of them. She is in touch with their classmate Kazuki who is in Tokyo on a regular basis.
Endo Kaname as Kenji
Yoshio’s good friend and a member of Mitsuyama City’s youth group. He has taken over his family’s electric goods store. The home appliance store at the newly opened shopping mall is his constant source of worry. He always hangs out with Yoshio and Tamotsu at the cafe ‘Tyrol’.
Honda Chikara as Tamotsu
Yoshio’s good friend and a former delinquent who works at a motorbike shop. A member of Mitsuyama City’s youth group. He was dating Yoko’s younger sister Yuka until recently. He was dumped but still cannot forget her. Each time they meet, he make advances and behaved annoyed.
Daito Shunsuke as Kazuki
A classmate of Yoshio and the others. An elite salaryman who currently works in Tokyo but used to suffer under them. He is secretly in love with Yoko.
Santamaria Yusuke as Team Leader
The leader of Mitsuyama City’s youth group. A hot-blooded guy who is passionate about making the light up event ‘Pikkarie’ to revitalise the shopping district. Because he shrewdly pushes errands to Yoshio and the rest, he is not liked by them.
